Look, ma! I’m flying!
Checking out the garden looking for any tidbits we may have turned up.
Who put that fourth wall here?
A gift of food (and a soft focus romance scene).
Hiding in a pine tree without much light, my camera decided she would look better as a watercolour.
Cold and windy today, and hard to hear the few cardinals that were out and about. The purple confetti in the background are redbud flowers blown off in the wind.
Stopping for a bite in our elm tree.
Pick me! Pick me!
Loitering in the cherry laurel.
Bath time.
Coming down for a snack in the rain. Apparently she doesn't like prunes.
First female I've seen in several days. I guess they are too busy doing important stuff to be seen. This one was in the holly in our front garden. Maybe there's a nest there?
Today's guest is Mr Red Cardinal, who is going sing us a song and talk about the lovely weather we've been having.
Singing amongst the blossoms (crab apples maybe?). Only boys today. I tried to track down some nests but no luck.
Still not sitting on eggs. Maybe tomorrow after the Easter Bunny supply contracts are delivered.
Backyard visitor.
Hanging onto a branch in the gusty wind, he's looking a little like his triceratops relatives.
